Frequently Asked Questions

You can add CommuniT (the employee volunteer tracking program) at any time, however, we strongly recommend including this add-on with your initial ReciprociT program launch.

ReciprociT’s Employee Gift Matching Program, like other employee benefits, are aligned with the standard January 1 – December 31 calendar year.  Therefore, under normal circumstances, if your company is wishing to stop offering this benefit, they can elect to do so only at the December 31 year end date.  There are exceptional circumstances that would allow otherwise such as your company selling to another or closing the business permanently.

The entire ReciprociT platform is in the Cloud, so no software to download, ever!

Choosing ReciprociT over your existing Employee Benefit Gift Matching Program is absolutely doable, and we can accommodate this request at any time.  Having said this, be sure to check the allowed exit options in your existing provider contract to be sure it is permitted outside of a calendar year end transfer.

Getting started with ReciprociT is SIMPLE! Here’s how it works:

  1. A 60-90 day setup window is recommended, although the actual implementation period is only two weeks!
  2. Within the ReciprociT contract, we address and collect all critical and highly confidential information including the Company’s Gift Matching Benefit Plan Policy. ReciprociT staff is here to assist with the drafting of the Policy – in fact – we have several samples for you to review and easily adapt to your preferences.
  3. Contract approval/signing.
  4. Establish Implementation 2 week time period – carry out implementation
  5. Electronic Employee OnBoarding using GenerosiT (ReciprociT’s employee app) can begin as soon as Implementation is complete.   We recommend at least a 30-day window of time for your employees to register on GenerosiT.
  6. ReciprociT co-brands and DRIVES the NEW benefit awareness campaign on behalf of your company and engages your workforce for you!
